What Is Truth? – Bible Reads for Passover Week- day 1 and 2

Triumphant_Entry_1024

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ – is the core of the Christian faith and its most defining and breathtaking phenomenon.  Without the sacrifice of the Son of God and His subsequent defeat of death, humanity would be lost to sin forever.  This week I will be offering up scripture reads as recommended by Zondervan publishers (the NIV study bible, copyright © 1985 by the Zondervan Corporation) to prepare our hearts and ponder the magnitude of God’s provision for anyone who will accept His Gift.

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:6-8
