Psalm 22:22 Today is one of those days.  I want to write.  I need to write...but my thoughts are like spider webs - knitting together and then floating away.  I can't concentrate.  So I sit before this screen and ask … Continue reading Writing for One

Canon Andrew White: Here our people have nothing, yet the presence of Jesus is so real – written by Gillan Scott

In Iraq, Jesus’ radical challenge to forgive those who mean us harm is not an occasional challenge, but a daily one. The glory or miraculous presence of God is a constant topic of conversation. God is ever present in His power and majesty, and in times of distress the Holy Spirit provides comfort and, truly, a peace that transcends the rational.’

The Greater Will

"Your Will is Greater than my purpose."  This is the sentence spoken into my heart last Sunday. I was at church in the middle of silent and corporate prayer with the body of Christ. The congregation was quiet and as I sat next to my son in prayer I found myself saying out loud, "uh … Continue reading The Greater Will
